# Why do I have to create an account to view sold listing data?

Houseful.ca is able to show you listings available on the market by working with Multiple Listing Services (MLS) across Canada. Some real estate associations and local MLS rules require visitors to complete a registration process before viewing additional listing data not available for public display, including sold data.

After creating your Houseful account [here](https://www.houseful.ca/#showsignup), you will receive an email to verify your email address, and then you’ll be able to view sold listing data, as well as keep track of your favourite properties and save searches to get alerts on homes fit for you.
